Welcome to Toronto Division

Toronto Division of the RCMP Veterans’ Association (RCMPVA) is linked primarily with the Greater Toronto Area District of the RCMP.  We welcome retiring members of the RCMP both from the GTA District and any who may be relocating to Toronto on retirement or who simply want to be a member of this Division.

We have three adjacent sister Divisions: Golden Horseshoe Division (www.goldenhorseshoe.rcmpvet.ca) (South West District RCMP), London Division (South West District RCMP)  and Georgian Bay Division (Orangeville, Alliston, Collingwood and environs).

Depending upon your retirement plans you may wish to contact the Division nearest to home to enquire about membership.

Information regarding Toronto Division membership may be found here.

Toronto Division holds monthly meetings with the kind assistance of the Royal Canadian Legion at their Branch 66 located at 6 Spring Garden Avenue, Toronto (just north of the 401 and Sheppard Avenue).

Our meetings are primarily social get-togethers, on occasion spiced with interesting speakers on a wide variety of topics.

Social events are also part of our program and include a Christmas Wine and Cheese, a mid-April Pot Luck , a summer golf tourney, an autumn Life Members luncheon and a number of Canteen fund raising operations in and around Toronto – venturing sometimes as far as Huntsville.

Our Division does support local charities and in the past has assisted the Community Association for Riding for the Disabled (CARD), Save the Children (Haiti relief fund), Toys for the North (assisting the RCMP), and the Slave Lake RCMP members relief fund. We provide maintenance for RCMP graves in the area including locating lost sites. We also assist the families of our members in times of need.

We are very proud to be able to offer five educational bursaries to our members. More information on the program may be found here.

Our popular monthly newsletter "Hoofbeats" is circulated to all Division members and contains news about what is happening in the Division, anecdotes, notices and some editorial comments.

Please feel free to peruse the website and use the contact page if you have any questions about any of the material herein.
